Join us on Saturday, April 8th, from 10:00-11:30am for Broadway Dance Masterclass! Students will learn a musical theatre dance combination as well as have the opportunity to chat with Liz in a Q&A at the end of class.
Previous dance experience is strongly recommended.
Liz Lester, who is currently on tour with the 25th Anniversary tour of CHICAGO in the role of Hunyak, began her training in ballet at the age of 12. She continued on to study various forms of dance, theater, and voice in Maine.
In 2014, Liz trained with the Portland Ballet Company, where she trained for three years joining as an apprentice in 2017.
In 2018, Liz transitioned to New York City, where she was quickly hired as a dancer and Wendy/Mary Barrie u/s in the 2018-19 National Tour of ‘Finding Neverland’ the Musical, under the direction of Mia Walker(Pippin, Jagged Little Pill, Waitress). In 2020, she continued on with Neverland, this time around taking over the role of Miss Bassett, and acting as a Mary Barrie/Mrs. du Maurier u/s.
Liz is based in NYC where she has trained in numerous styles of theater dance and jazz, with an emphasis in the fosse style. She has trained with many reputable teachers and choreographers, including Chryssie Whitehead, Alexis Carra, John Leggio, Richard Pierlon, Lloyd Culbreath, Camden Loeser, and more!
